First Video Game Event

Our first video game event was held on 6/22 from 2-4 and drew eleven kids. They seemed to have a great time! We had a Wii with Wii Sports and Wario Smooth Moves, a Gamecube hooked up to a projector with Mario Kart and DDR and a Playstation 2 with Guitar Hero. Check out the photos on Flickr.

Our next event is 7/13 from 2-4 so call the library to reserve a spot!

In other news, my paladin is now level 66 1/2…..hot days mean staying inside with the air conditioning and hunting Talbuks for the Hemingwary Expedition in Nagrand. LOL

Another resource is www.eportfolio.org which is a great idea to showcase your accomplishments and show potential schools (or employers) how tech savvy you are! You can create a page with links to important papers or projects you’ve done. It can really add to a college application.
